Sue Marx, President

Sue is a farmer and owner of a 75-acre diversified livestock farm in central Jefferson County. She has served with several agricultural organizations and is a member of the land use plan committee of the Town of Jefferson. Sue also chairs the monitoring and enforcement committee of the Land Trust.

David Walz, Board member

David lives in Watertown and is a conservation warden with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for Jefferson, Dodge and Rock Counties. He is the past president of Drumlin Area Land Trust and is a member of the monitoring and enforcement committee of the Land Trust.

Dr. Peter Jacobs, Secretary

Peter is a professor in the Department of Geography and Geology, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is the owner of a 91-acre farm near Fort Atkinson and has placed a conservation easement on his farmland. Peter is a member of the land inventory and project assessment committee of the Land Trust.

Glenn Welles, Treasurer

Glenn is retired from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department. He owns a 140-acre farm on the Rock River in Lebanon Township, Dodge County, and has converted much of the land to conservation practices and protection of natural habitat through programs with USDA, Pheasants Forever and the state Managed Forest Law.

Jill Bedford

Jill is self employed as a native landscaper, horticulturist and artist and previously worked with The Nature Conservancy on prairie restoration. She serves on the park board of the Town of Lebanon, Dodge County, and is a member of the land inventory and project assessment committee of the Land Trust.

Howard Pegelow

Howard is the owner of a firm providing commercial and residential inspection services. He is a lake property owner in the Town of Fox Lake, Dodge County, and currently serves as president of Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association. Howard is a member of the communications and outreach committee of the Land Trust.
